Dear friends, Darcy and Sharon, invited Kate and Jennifer to join them (and their four-year-old twins) at their summer cabin on Echo Lake. The two couples have known each other for 25 years.

A cabin this beautiful can hardly be called rustic, but it's accessible only by boat or foot, has only very limited solar electricity, and a compost toilet.
