Celebrating Ethnic Food

Houston's ethnic population is huge, and there are thousands of restaurants of numerous varieties: Brazilian, Indonesian, Spanish, Indian, Korean, you name it.

To celebrate ethnic food, Beth, Jenni, and their mom ate pupusas and fried plantains at a Salvadoran restaurant. Pupusas are kind of like thick pancakes, filled with meat or beans or cheese. They were quite good! The large jar of pickled cabbage on each of the tables is a standard condiment.
