Amazon Dog Swim In the fall of 2008, just before they emptied Eugene's Amazon Pool for the season, there was a Dog Swim Day, where dogs could come for a splash. It was great fun, and all proceeds went to PAAWS (People and Animals Who Serve). Other fun events: Greenhill's Bark in the Park, Doggy Dive, and Big Hogs for Big Dogs.
